I'm still a tortoise, going slow and steady to reach my writing and reading goals. While I'm pleased with the strides I've made in some regards, in other areas, not so much. Here's where I am as of the end of June.

Blog posts published: 21, including this post

Books completed: 48

Short story: First draft of one story completed, penultimate draft of another done and sent in, and a third completed and presented.

Novel draft total: about 35,000 words done.

The last point annoys me. I write and I write, but I also delete notes and scenes that are no longer relevant. I'm finishing chapter 8, but it feels like I'm on a literary treadmill.

Sigh. Back to the grindstone.
