I'm not a fan of new year resolutions. From what I can see, people stop following them within a month or two. Moreover, I'd rather set up resolutions as needed, rather than waiting for a specific date. Hence I'm setting up an accountability post, where I list my ambitions on the open web. Time will tell how successful I am.

Reading wise, my unread books list is long, and grows still longer. I hope to make a dent in the pile.

Goal: Finish 52 books by the end of the year.

Writing wise, I am a tortoise at the best of times. I can't achieve the pages upon pages of tests that others can, but I still want to do what I can.

Goal 1: A 52,000 word minimum on my current novel draft.

Goal 2: Finish at least 1 short story

Goal 3: Publish at least 40 blog posts.

Now to get to work.
